THIS IS HOW THE EXPERIMENT ENDS, DONE IN BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THEMSELVES… THE ENEMY WITHIN INDEED

So Republicans, pundits & yes even Democrats, quit blaming the Democrats, Biden or Kamala, for what happened. The people who voted for a fascist wannabe tyrant, or decided to skip voting completely, when the election meant democracy or dictatorship, are the people who should look in the mirror and reflect… not the democrats! 

BECAUSE ALL WE CAN NOW HOPE FOR is that those siding with Democracy, still in power somehow, or keeping up the good fight from outside, can keep the lights of freedom ablaze. Fingers crossed come next Election Day, we can still vote, and those votes actually will count. Whomever is pulling the strings help, please? Or let's hope, if there isn't anyone or anything pulling anything, the fascist fever which has swept our nation, will finally be broken and America can be America again.  

I can't stop crying as my worst fears happened… again. And as they've been pitching it lately, I guess Trump is now our daddy! Unbelievably it turns out Donald will actually win the popular vote this time, he's currently ahead, the lead is lessening but it doesn't look good. And now, it's pretty official that Donald not only won the gig, maddeningly he also has the Senate and sadly has won the House as well. There was a lot of buzz online, about numbers, cause of the states Trump won, several of them the Republican candidates in the House or Senate lost their gigs. Which of course has led to many people pitching the same BS that the trumpeters pitched when he lost to Biden. Lots of conspiracies about the count, lots of posts claiming someone knows someone, a daughter, a son, but the ballots that they mailed in hadn't been counted. And as usual with things like this, the other side, who drum beat the recounts to historic numbers in 2020 and since, now scream how dare the Democrats, how hypocritical of them! But what are they afraid of? Sadly or I guess happily, the Democrats at least in power haven't gone on air or demanded recounts on a loop. And honestly I haven't seen it anywhere accept on the internet. And when I do see someone share this, my response is 'well if it's true, they better hurry up cause once trump is sworn in and he has replaced our government with his people, nothing we do will matter.' Plus 'have you seen this anywhere on TV, or the New York Times or any credible news organization? But that hasn't stopped the emails asking for funding for recounts. The begging for the election was instantly replaced with we need money for that, because there are actual candidates that might need a recount, and yes that costs money. 

And yes, I've read threats to the democrats, by those who have been masking their true affiliations by cosplaying as Republican Senators and House Rep's. Who once the election ended and it's too late for buyer's remorse, are now fully revealed as Fascist SS generals for their leader. Immediately threatening anyone that dares to go against whatever de Donald commands. If you dare to suggest a recount, or not allow all of his highness to get all of his chosen Cabinet in, you will feel their wraith! Like threatening to help get them out of their political seats! It's the Gulag for you, or maybe a tall window, or heres a glass of hemlock. I mean what are they so afraid of especially since he has seemingly won by a big enough margin in the Electoral College? Bamboo fiber actually appearing this time? Maybe just maybe a lot of uncounted ballots will be discovered? Just saying… And what if they do that to a few and each state showcases the same discrepancies? I mean that's what they claimed last time. Right? Perhaps we have exactly what they pitched last time, but this time, they actually accomplished the con. But as usual, we aren't allowed to investigate them, it's the system that's crooked… and now Donald is hiring all the People that pitched his big lie, to go after them. While doing here in what used to be known as America, exactly what Putin has been doing for decades in Russia.  

And I have to mention, the United States Postmaster General, the fellow running the Post Office, Louis DeJoy. I can't believe he is still in charge. He's actually lasted longer then Biden's Presidency, and might last longer then Democracy's too. They may not know much about her, but don't you think they know enough about him? That's what Kamala should have said on The View, when she was asked "What would you have done differently (if you could back and change anything in Biden's 4 years)?" I would have said, Louis DeJoy, that's it. Louis DeJoy. I would have gotten him out as soon as I possibly could. I'm sorry it shouldn't take a President to get someone kicked out, that is going against the wishes of the sitting President, especially when he was installed by Donald, an man who tried to overthrow our government. So we don't know anything about her, but don't you think we know way too much about him? Even if you ignore 99% of what he's done or said, there's got to be something? Anything? That everyone can't ignore about him. That would force you not to vote for him, and vote for whomever is his opponent.  I mean come on, Donald Trump keeps humping the American flag repeatedly in front of people on stage, crickets! He  ended this year's campaign by performing fellatio, giving head, going down and up, on a mic for Gods sake, nothing. He paid off a porn star, who cares. Two impeachments, nada, burying one of his wives on a golf course, not even stealing national top secret documents, scream! Nothing bothers his cult followers…nothing. 

So why is anyone surprised that after Trump pretty much comes out as a full pledged Nazi, that he's now won the popular vote as well. Sorry, there can't be that many stupid people out there to not see what's wrong with this picture. To be all in with him, no matter what he says, and his popularity only seems to grow? I'm sorry it just can't be because he's a good businessman, and the people just don't know Kamala. Or that Donald acts like a bad Don Rickles doing stand up, if Rickles was Hitler's court jester. Sorry, it only showcases what none of the polls revealed. That there is no middle ground anymore. One side of this nation has gone full on all in with Trump's agenda, you know dictatorship. The other sadly the losers in the election, you know the side that believes in the Constitution and the good old US of A. And those of use who still want to live in a world where The Statue of Liberty actually showcases who we are as a nation. Well buckle up, we get to watch our world disappear in real time. No special effects necessary. The experiment that was launched in 1776, will be fully revealed as a failed attempt. Nice try. Goods luck to the next nation that tries it. Hopefully you will learn from our mistakes. 

What gets me for the most part nobody saw this coming, but myself and a few others. I think I've seen a number of articles and maybe one or two people, bring up what I can feel has been happening to the American people and others, who have been listening to Donald Trump since he began guesting on pseudo news programs since he began sending out signals that he might be running for President. His celebrity status as the start of The Apprentice had made him a star and a fan favorite, and started appearing on entertainment style interview shows, and his opinions about the world and our country, even then was outlandish and in your face. So he already had the name recognition, and once he announces he was immediately getting free airtime on Fox 24/7. And pretty much drowned out the other candidates.  And once President. It was non-stop. Even during the pandemic, we couldn't get rid of him, even after the genocide began over the American people, and the bread lines began across the nation. And good, bad, or horrendous, all we got was how great Donald was, and all the bad was the fault of the Democrats. Four years of that can askew what the people believe. I mean he was The President right? Presidents are the good guys, isn't that what we learned in school? They never lie! So if he was the President and they never lie, and you believed him, wouldn't it make some sense, that if he tells you the election was stolen, maybe he was telling the truth? He was the victim, OMG! And we heard this mantra, how it was stolen, he was robbed, for four years! Non stop from him, from FOX news 24/7 and all the other newbie FOX wannabes. And way more people watch those sources of information, real or not, instead of actual credible news sources.  

It's called gas lighting, doh! It's called brainwashing… get it?!?! They pulled a Manchurian candidate on the entire population of the United States. Is it sinking in it? Well I watched for months, once the realization kicked in, to see if anyone would start bringing this up. Sadly my little blog has never broken through. Ironically my biggest read post here occurred in May 29,2016, DOES THE MEDIA WANT HILLARY CLINTON TO LOSE? http://www.neilizms.com/2016/05/does-media-want-hillary-clinton-to-lose.html, and over 18,000 people have read it so far. It pretty much discussed how Hillary couldn't buy air time. Much like Kamala, Hillary was prepared. She had a proposal for pretty much everything that effected the lives of Americans, and her plans for how she would handle world events. She was ready. Except for those pesky emails and Benghazi. And when they asked, it was always from Trumps perspective. It was like Trumps team was writing the questions she was asked. And he spewed promises and touted his greatness, with of course only his word to prove it, and his fame from a TV show. With a huge assistance from The National Enquirer. I mean every time you were at the check out counter, his face was plastered on the cover, or Hillary's was of her always being a crook or dying. Which was big for while. 

The idea, I had suspected for a long time, and sadly no one of status, not even Rachel Maddow, brought this up. I mean isn't that the simplest reasoning. The most obvious explanation for what was happening. But history lovers, war buffs, they should have obviously seen it. Well I've seen it. How certain media outlets have been brainwashing their viewers for years now. And I'm sorry, when does a politician become part of the channel's main source of news and their identity. When do their on air talent, become part of a candidate's campaign? Make speeches for them during an attempted coup on January 6th, as well as make speeches for them at their Political Conventions?  Fair and balanced, when you're part of the campaign. And now half of them are gonna be in his cabinet, or with jobs working for him.  Donald was on air, all the time, whenever he wants free air time, he just called up and spends an hour spewing. Kamala never got those hours of air time… shouldn't she have  at least been offered it. Fair is fair.  

And all of that conspiracy, the lies, propaganda and gas lighting, helped brainwash millions of people into believing every word he says, while only believing his interpretation of what others are saying and doing. It's like it's his world and they're already in it, and we are the last to know. The Invasion of The Body Snatchers has finally come to the United States, and not just on the silver screen or your televisions. It's the actual people surrounding us, watching us, taking notes, and reporting to the authorities. Until one day, the notes stop, and the round up begins, or you just disappear, drop out a tall window accidentally, or get poisoned… Every dictator throughout history has done it in one or another, through propaganda, through cons, through lies, especially in the age of the internet. But dictators don't just become self made tyrants, czars, dictators, even kings, they have to gain it through deception and lies. The only thing different with Donald is, he told us exactly what he would do, the people either thought it was a joke, or worse they were all in. Sadists, racists and fascists, oh my, why wouldn't they all fall for him, he's just like them. Plus he gets away with everything. Just look at Evita, and her reign. Look at Putin, Donald might now be our daddy, and Putin is definitely Donald's. And once dictator's are in power, they don't leave… until death, another nation overthrows them, or the people themselves rise up, have a little revolution, and win back their country if they ever do. 

So Kamala Harris was Vice President for almost 4 years, and nobody seems to have known her. But, honestly I would have voted in a corpse over Donald, so it boggles my mind that any person would vote for him. I mean if you want to skip his 2 impeachments, his mishandling of the COVID pandemic, or his conviction of at least harassing and defaming E. Jean Carroll, I would almost understand that. I couldn't but I'll give you a pass. But if your whole pitch is that he a great businessman, and you completely ignore his multiple bankruptcies. Or how many businesses that he opened went bust. Not to forget all the people he's ripped off in those businesses. Or how during his Presidency, he took a growing economy and almost took us to another Great Depression, doh! And even if you completely forget all of that, I'm sorry, how could forget one of these: His New York civil fraud case that he lost because he was a tax cheat of historic proportions. Ripping off the American people and Uncle Sam to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars! That got him fined $364 million, that is accruing interest daily. He is now appealing. Great businessman? Actually he sounds pretty terrible, or simply crooked? I understand they weren't feeling it, but do they all have amnesia, of what we lived through during his tenure? How it actually got worse the longer he was in and by the end he had a favorability of only 34% and that was before the insurrection!

I at least understand President Biden had a lot to fix when he came in, I mean, anyone who replaced Trump would have. And Biden did step in the biggest pile of shit (sorry no niceties when the country is disappearing as I type this) that only maybe Obama, definitely Lincoln and FDR, had ever entered The White House, before Biden with so much on the line. But how he managed the crisis and got us through it seems to have been completely forgotten by the people. All they remember is the cost of milk at the supermarket, not that they should get on their knees and thank Biden and Kamala for saving this country, millions of lives, and our economy, not just saving it, but now its the envy of the world! He got the schools opened again. He got our world working again. And signed into laws so many things that if untouched or destroyed by Trump will continue sending our economy soaring for years. Kamala was planning on building on that success. She understood, that most of the people weren't feeling it. Sadly to get to this point the people as usual, were the last to actually feel Biden's success. Of course, what makes it worse, as the economy soars, Trump again will take full credit. And sadly once again, he will cause a titanic shift in the way we do things, and tank everything. 

Should I have to remind everyone, that he promised to pardon all the January 6th convicts… which of course brings up the subject of the big lie. That the 2020 election was stolen from Donald. Or that he didn't go to President Biden's Inauguration. And if I haven't made it clear enough yet, but, sorry our nation is now filled with fascists, run by a fascist government, in cahoots with Russia. So how long before Donald becomes enshrined as our President for life, or whatever title they bestow on him? If my prediction is correct, how long before JV Dunce starts rounding up motherless cat ladies? Plus, never forgot, Trump already said he's gonna cancel the CHIPS act, Obamacare, and pretty much has suggested women not having any say in their bodies or lives… I shouldn't leave out the trans community, Jesus, I so hope that somehow they escape Trumps hate. But right now I don't have much hope… What gets me, in every part of our society, there are those who Donald and those who agree with him, are all in with Trump's agenda, and voted for that. How does that happen? How much self hate must they have? Or simply hate must they have in their hearts to vote against yourself?   

So now we get to sit back and watch as Trump destroys all the good President Biden did while in office. While at the same time, having to forget all the things Vice President Kamala Harris was pitching throughout her campaign, that would have made all of our lives better. From continuing the work that they had begun under Biden's leadership, while adding to that all the wonderful items Kamala wanted to add into the mix. Like adding elderly home care to medicare recipients. Like planning to build up to 5,000,000 new homes for people to buy. Like the added tax benefits she was pitching for new businesses to get off the ground. Like saving Social Security and medicare, while strengthening Obamacare. Like signing into law Abortion Right's nationally. And of course the Border Bill. 

Sadly all of that is just something the people preferred not to get,  All we got from Trump were Tariffs, a major tax break for the rich, and of course deporting every illegal they can find. Seems the majority wanted that. Seems preferring to become indentured servants to a dictator's every whims. All them couldn't wait for Donald to grab them by their pussies whenever he wants, even the men who love the Donald, willing to bend over and or  swallow his orange goo. And there's nothing we can do about it. Nothing! Remember his Supreme Court Justices made that a reality. Another thing the people voted for! Caligula's tenure, will have nothing on Donald's second reign. But sorry, I for one will not be purchasing a Trumpian bible, so matter what the threats to me or my loved ones are. I'd rather die. Sadly we learned too late, that's exactly what Americans for Donald wanted! Don't come running to me, when it's your time to be attacked by Donald and his goon squad. 

What's maddening is, people think Biden was President in 2020, so I guess its his fault COVID19 became an issue, nothing bad happened when Trump was in charge!?!?!  What planet are those people living on? They remember it being that bad that year, but they think it's Biden's fault… how do you defeat that, when they won't believe the calendar? So did Biden approve the vaccination creation, or did Trump? Just saying. I mean didn't Trump put his name on the checks we received to stay home? They still thank him for that too. But they don't blame him for his God awful mishandling of the crisis. Somehow they don't remember the Election happens in November and the winner doesn't get in for another 3 months. That he or she doesn't get into office till they've sworn an oath to the Constitution on a bible on January 20th of the following calendar year. Which this time, happened after Trump's January 6th attempted coup. On January 20th, 2021 Biden came in and from day one tried to save as many Americans as possible, and right our economy. And clean up the mess that Donald left. Which President Biden actually did. 

People keep saying prices were so low under Trump during his last Presidency. Really? You seem to forget there was nothing on the shelf, remember no toilet paper, ring a bell yet? And yes gas was very  cheap, that's because no one was driving! And that the oil people were pretty much giving oil and gas away. Trump with his tariff's pitch will definitely be causing a spike…  And if we have another election in 4 years time, I would estimate by the beginning of year 3, the tide would have turned, and the people might turn on him again. Of course sadly if that happens, 'We the People' might now be living in an official fascist nation. So our only way out is if 'We the People;' rise up and perhaps launch a combination of a Civil War and a Revolution.  

Even worse about the results of this year's election results. This time, Trump, seemingly has won the popular vote. We already know, Republicans won The Senate, and it had been announced earlier that they had also won the House, because they had 218 winners, today that number dropped to 217, when Matt Gaetz, who was offered the gig as United States Attorney General, announced he was resigning immediately to accept Donald's offer. Now Lawrence O'Donnell mentioned last night, that he had won the election this year so, apparently he can return to the Congress when the new House is sworn in, so he's back in if he doesn't get the gig, that he definitely never should ever be getting. 

The reason they say he resigned now, was because on Friday, they were gonna be releasing an ethics report on him. If your don't remember, Matt supposedly was having relations with underage girls, paying for them to travel across state lines. His buddy went to prison for this and testified against him. So he resigned, and once he does the ethics reports will never officially see the light of day. It's not necessary to be released if he's no longer in office. And if it never gets released it won't supposedly effect his chances to  get voted in. 

Of course, the joke being. He doesn't have the gig yet. The other Republicans that Trump offered gigs to in his cabinet or a job in his White House, haven't quit theirs yet, because they might not be confirmed. But Donald's team is pitching something that is unlawful, and if you are surprised, shame on you. You see, you want to work for Donald and work for the people, in these jobs, legally you need to go through the confirmation process. Trump doesn't wants to do that anymore. Like his taxes or his heath records, he follows his own rules. All is good, if he says so. Heck, he likes them, wants them, no vetting necessary. Screw the law, and worse, Donald Trump is now the law of the land… remember, dictator on day one. 

Here are the numbers so far, Donald's has received 75,894,047 votes (50.2%), more votes then any Republican in history, while Kamala Harris so far has gotten 72,881,697 votes (48.2%). Pretty close if you ask me. So there wasn't a landslide, and Kamala in the end might actually get more votes. The trumpeters are already shouting that Donald  had an historic victory. That he has a mandate. Much like George Walker Bush's mandate, which was given to him, not by the people, but by the Supreme Court, which decided he had won. How is that a mandate? So it doesn't appear that the Democrats will win the House. So just like when he first became President, he will have all 3 branches to control like he wants. And unlike his first go round, this time, he's coming in fully prepared to do every thing he's been pitching. God I hope the guard rails hold.

Deja Vu? Did this really happen? Cause appears in the year 2024, a racist obese, possibly mentally deranged white man, wearing black face, whose a womanizing convicted felon, Hitler loving, possibly fascist, and working under Putin's shadow, can defeat a highly educated, professional, sitting Vice President, who just happens to be a democratic woman of color for the job of President? I've got to be having the nightmare of all nightmares? I keep thinking it's a new day, but its more like Groundhog Day. Sadly the people didn't care. Trump was running to be king, to pretty much get away with anything and everything he desires. We are so screwed… I am so pissed! I can't believe after all the nonsense Trump spewed, all his insults, all the hate, all the threats, and all the hell we went through while he was President! Or the fact that the people elected him back in after the hell we went through when he attempted to overthrow our nation. Or the fact that his Nazi rally that he held in Madison Square Garden didn't wake up the people in the end, and finally remove him from our political world. Which of course leaves the last 'I can't believe', I can't believe the country that brought us the Greatest Generation, that fought against fascism, and won, has been defeated by fascist running to become our first dictator, and the American people voted that in! That I will never believe. Oh I almost skipped the biggest offender. How the heck did a television channel, spewing Russian disinformation, continuously, become the most listened to version of events and believed more by the people then actual facts, news, and reality. Maybe a never ending stream of gaslight helped?

When Hillary lost, I thought it was simply because of James Comey's October surprise, and way too many people thinking she had the election in the bag, and would win easily. I mean people really wouldn't vote for him, right? And then the bottom dropped out, and millions protested around the world, with regrets that 'their' not voting might have given him the job. Sadly I now can't trust the American people to do the right thing anymore. Sorry, they elected a fascist wannabe dictator, a man with a legal record so long dense he could only get a job in a prison, or as The President of the United States! How ironic is that? Seems the founders of this nation, never thought the people would vote for well a Donald J. Trump type. I've lost faith in the people… First Hillary and now Kamala, fool us once shame on you, fools us twice, shame on "WE THE PEOPLE"! Hitler, Evita, Putin, Erdogan amongst many, and now Trump. I guess people never learn from other people's mistakes or their own. It's amazing we still exist as a species, since this give up your freedom by a people, to freely hand over their power, their very lives to someone as horrible and fascistic as Trump, seems to have happened throughout the ages.   

So say goodbye to what made America so great, and hello to whatever Hell scape Trump transforms our nation into. Guess the worry that Trump could name 2 more Supreme Court Justices skipped everyone's mind, or the fact that we can kiss Ukraine goodbye. We are so screwed… I am so pissed! And who knows what's gonna be happening in Israel. Presumably Trump as opposed to Ukraine, would continue that funding to Israel, and they will continue their, sorry what has to be called genocide. I understand October 7th, and what happened on that horrible day. But I'm sorry, there's got to be a better way. By their own actions, the continuous rise in the number of casualties and deaths, without any semblance of plan to retrieve the hostages and end this well madness. But the seemingly senseless slaughter on most days, that overpowers the coverage, even after the reports come out that Israel, has killed off those who are in charge of the other sides operations and who planned the October 7th slaughter to begin with. But because our government ran by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the effect on the members of our society related to both sides of what's happening in the middle east has caused riots in the streets, and Anti-Semitism to explode all over our country, and around the world. And I've never felt less safe to live in my own country in my life.

I woke the morning after Election Day, realizing our reality is an actual nightmare, and America, 'the land of the free, home of the brave', was just a dream. Almost 250 years after the American people began choosing our leaders, the experiment appears to be coming to an end. Trump's tenure as the most powerful voice in Republican politics has revealed the founding fathers hadn't thought everything out completely. As we've discovered way too many things we took as the law, was just precedent, common courtesy and common sense. And when you have people not following precedents, tradition,  the rules, or the law. Them breaking the law and getting away with it, because the people that could have stopped them, decided nope, screw the constitution, screw the law. My guy knows best. My guy is the law. 

With all that written, I have to add something that's really upsetting me almost as much as the fact that Trump will be king for life once he's sworn in, the blame game. People are blaming everything and everyone except for those really responsible for Trump's win. Blame the American people who voted him back into power. It wasn't trumps fault, it wasn't all his minions who pitched the lies that Trump pitched. It wasn't the Democrats who didn't see this coming, or the FOX not by a million miles NEWS or the other gas lighting and brainwashing media companies, and it certainly wasn't Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, who only did two things. Trying to help the people by doing a great job for almost four years while also warning us all about the dangers of a trump second term. And it wasn't the billionaires who helped gaslight Americans for profit and power… It was the American voters who did this to themselves! 

Which brings me to today.  Sadly the best I can hope for is if we can still vote, and if Trump doesn't make himself a dictator, that once again, like in his first time as President, he'll be so bad, that once again, the people will rise up and elect a Democrat to fix the current mess he got us in.… Phew. I'm just scared how bad that could be. But because of the gas lighting and brainwashing, apparently the only way a Democrat will win in 2028, especially if Donald turns himself into a dictator, is if Trump is so bad, has done so much damage, whatever that is, that the people will rise up we actually have a revolution.  

But sorry, the way they seem to be setting up his Presidency this time, as I've warning, the country will be a dictatorship and 'we the people' will be lucky to still have Social Security, healthcare, and a roof above our heads.  They way Trump could possibly be able to get his entire cabinet in without any recess hearings, so even the ones nobody wants, like Matt Gaetz, for US Attorney General of all people, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. God forbid for Heath and Human Services,  Tulsi Gabbard to be the director of natural intelligence, or not to forget FOX weekend News host Pete Hegfsseth for Defense Secretary … each choice scarier and less qualified then the one before. OMG, this is the end of the world, and now Kash Patel! Yes it can get even worse… As Donald just chose possibly the clearest indication, that his latest attempt to become dictator for life, and exact revenge and pain to the most people in the worst possible way is going to happen!  Just as I was finishing the edit of this, on Friday Nov. 15, around noon, Donald announcing his most insane pick yet… OMG, unbelievably Kash Patel was tapped to run the FBI! I mean what could go wrong… and we ARE all going to die…  Scarily this makes his first cabinet look like Donald was a genius. 

OK, while you still can, President Biden, please, swallow your pride and pardon your son…  before you leave office and it's too late. And while you're at it, pardon everyone who helped Kamala,  or yourself,  protecting them from any future potential retribution by Trumps regime. I so hope when you have your sit down with Donald in January, as you hand over the keys to the White House, the entire event is videotaped, possibly aired live, just in case it ends and you exit a changed, brainwashed mind slave of the Trumpian virus that has switched way too many in our nation. Converting them into fascist Nazi sympathizers and lost souls for all time, destined to suffer throughout eternity for their sins in Hell. That is if there is a God. Right now I doubt it, sorry we as a people couldn't have done anything to deserve any of this, again! And if we did, for destroying our world into a death spiral, then please end all our miseries sooner then later. I'm sorry I personally can't take much more of this! Thank whomever is pulling the strings, that I don't have suicidal tendencies…

In closing, my apologies for not writing in a while, life gets in the way, is my main excuse. But watching what we as a country was going through with the run up to the election and since. What is happening around the world, as seemingly half the globe is on fire. With famine, war, the rise of dictatorships, and the fall of democracies, and I'm not even talking about ours that's almost feels like it's on the way out. Funny I never worried about Russia defeating us in battle or attacking us. In films The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are coming, when they portrayed as comical idiots or real life, when we learned about all of Russia's interference with the 2016 election. But now I'm completely of the belief that Putin's been setting this up for at least a decade. I think the first time I felt something was off was in 2018, when a bunch of GOP senators visited Moscow and spent their July 4th Celebration, our Independence Day, there. I could never figure out why they would on our nation's birthday. I jokingly suggested possibly being brainwashed to be this generation's Manchurian candidates. 

But discovering listening to the people who voted for Trump, the excuses I heard, how each time he was about to go on finished a court case and lost, nothing effected the election's poll numbers, nothing. A percent or a few in  the numbers at most, like right after the debate, but one of the many should have plummeted the numbers like it did Hillary's after James Comey's October political hit job did. Sadly if something like that would have happened this campaign against Trump, it wouldn't have been a blip for the  mindless minions of Donald's. As mentioned else where here, if a fascist pitch fest couldn't give end Trump's chances, I guess nothing could. It pretty much showcases how gullible people really are. To be so easily conned by a low rent carnival TV pitchman, is beyond me. The closer we got to Election Day, as the many articles I began to write, and  never completed, and my feelings about the events of the time went back and forth, I could never surmise what exactly I wanted to say at each moment. What was the big picture here, and since this blog is supposed to be my take on things. How do you publish something without, I guess you can call it the punch line.

What got me most was for the most part, way too many people didn't see the big picture themselves, all were thrown by Donald's latest pitch of insanity and insult, each time, always coincided with a revelation that would have put most people out of political office or the career itself, or a sentence in a penitentiary! Which could have saved us all from what's to come. Always knowing that if Donald had lost, if the people had voted for Kamala, all of this national nightmare would be over finally. But sadly I had the same feelings when Hillary lost, and yes I did cry myself to sleep. And as the revelation that he indeed was somehow gonna be back in power, and every one of his convictions and legal cases against him were one by one being dropped. That yes he could get away with anything, kept pulverizing my inner moral compass of what is right and what is wrong. How all this is wrong. How the bad guys won. How Hitler got in power. How a people would happily give up their freedoms. To allow their own country to become a dictatorship. Now I understand how the German people transformed into the Nazi horror show that it was. Or simply, trying to finish anything was the last thing on my mind. 

Except the guilt of not sharing my thoughts here. The actual pain of regret and discomfort of not publishing anything was adding to how I was feeling, the closer we got to Election day, the more emotional weight I felt. I cried watching Kamala appear and even Tim was getting to me. Watching the rapture that it felt was occurring at their campaign events. It seemed even more glorious, exciting and enthusiastic then even Obama had received or Trump. And from how the talking heads discussed it, the  way people on the street talked about it, it looked like a new day had come and we were about to turn the page, and my spirits soared. Except the never ending polls number quandary. And with the failure of the last elections, who knew what was coming this time. Especially when the results seemingly was a repeat of Hillary's sad election night experience. 

As you can see by today's Neilizm, I did have lots to say. Even after editing I'm too close to it to see if it makes sense. A good editor and at least half of my way too long pity fest you see before would be edited out, as I try to find a reason why the America I grew up so proud to be living in, could transform itself into an actual fascist nation. Run by a dictator that only could be out of master casting for a reinterpretation of Springtime For Hitler. A wacky new take on The Producers, Mel Brooks classic comedy. But in this its the actual world we are living in and America, much like in the fictional play within the movie,  by the end, the Hitler character the audience falls in love with. Unfortunately in this plot that the retelling we are living through, the wacky fascist leader defeat democracy and becomes ruler of Trumpland. I think you can see why I've had trouble getting something out.  If nothing it's a call to speak to someone. Which is the main reason I've posting this today. Sadly nothing I write here will alter what's to come. But maybe another person feeling anything like I'm currently feeling, would speak to someone. Of course be careful who, in my current paranoid state, in our new fascist nation, who you tell could be a not so cool idea. If you catch my drift…    

Honestly, this took me almost a week to write.  I stopped and started at least 4 times. I put it down 2 days before I picked it up to finish. And my last go around lasted the whole day into night. But finally I got this one out. I guess I should mention, if I'm being totally honest, as I like to be, what had me hesitating probably was my worrying and of opening up and discussing all my feelings about the loss of American exceptionalism, in my eyes, as well as the death of Democracy to well the world. As I mentioned pretty much at the top of this and throughout, I can not stop crying. Which is not a good thing, unless you take it as a warning or a head up that you definitely need to talk to someone about whatever you are dealing with. I mention this because if there anyone out there who is also upset, bothered and bewildered about what's happening and how its effecting you, and possibly the rest of your life, please think about seeing someone or at least talk it out with a friend. We have no clue what's in store for us, and what's to come. Remember, we might be in for the fight of our lives, and if we fail, America and or democracy could be a distant memory in the future land known as Trumpland, or Putin's Plaything. 

As a way to end this, I decided to share the lyrics, to a tune because the sentiment fits so perfectly to the way I feel right now. The song closes out the musical Camelot, with the 'Camelot, Finale Ultimo'*  the lyrics have always gotten to me. Even the very first time I saw the film as a kid in 1967 at age of 8, the words hit me like a ton of bricks, especially it's second half. After we the audience had witnessed the ending of King Arthur's dream. But it never hit me as much as it's doing now. See if it gets to you too.

Are you tearing up yet? Well I just did again rereading it in the final edit. Doesn't that fit perfectly with what we are living through? On one on the bad days, as I was humming the songs, I started playing with the lyrics, to fit our current scenario … I mean I was playing it on a loop in my brain. ' Where once it never rained till after sundown, Where Democracy used to be a thing.. Don't let it be forgot, That once there was a spot, For one brief shining moment that was known As America.… I really loved being an American, I was so proud. And all I keep hearing in my head are lyrics to songs related to the end of Democracy. 'Camelot, Finale Ultimo', 'Tomorrow Belongs to me' from Camelot.  Even 'Springtime for Hitler' from The Producers, but currently that isn't making any of the funny or better. All I know is, there's gonna be a lot of buyers remorse in the streets of Trumpland!
