WAIT TILL THE DEBATES, THEN LETS TALK
So President Barack Obama raised a measly $45 million for his re-election bid in February, raising his reported total so far to about $300 million for this election cycle. His totals for February fell short of the $56 million he raised in February 2008. Republicans have already come out and claimed it was a sign of tepid support. Of really.
Perhaps its really the fact that he's not running against anyone this time around. Perhaps its because he's not on every channel promoting wacky promises like $2.50 gallon of gas if elected. Maybe its cause he's not starring in the weekly comedy sit-com, Republicans Debate. Lets see, could it be that he's not on the front pages everyday, people aren't calling you up hourly asking for your vote. Of course his funds would be less then when he had to face a real test in battle, such as his fight against Hillary Clinton. A battle for the ages. One so far different then the current Republican primary, both in quality of candidate and quality of the conversation.
